Sample Answer:
The given bar graph compares the percentage of British citizens who gave charity money dividing them in 5 age groups for two years. Overall, the UK people who are over 35 years old contributed more on charity programmes than the young people did and young people contributed more on such charities in 1990 than they did 10 years later.
As is observed in the bar graph, over 15% 18-25 years old young UK people contributed to charity works in 1990 while this percentage increased with the ages. People in 36-50 years old contributed maximum in terms of their percentage (over 40%) on charity donations while older people who are over 50 years old contributed more than the young but less than the 36-50 years old people. After 10 years, the contribution to charity works by 18- 50 years old decreased significantly while the opposite trend is true for the aged people who were over 50 years old. In 2010, highest contribution in charity work was done by the age group 51-65 years amounting about 40%.
