The table below shows the average band scores for students from different language groups taking the IELTS General Test in 2010.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given table data presents information about the average IELTS general test band scores achieved by students of different language groups in the year 2010. As is given in the data, German students got the highest average band score in IELTS General Test while this band score was lowest for the Malay students.
The table presents average band score achieved by four language groups, namely: German, French, Indonesia and Malay. There are four section of the test which are Listening, Reading, Writing, speaking. The band score are assigned to all these individual sections as well as an overall band score. The German students achieved the highest band score in all the four sections and their overall band score was 6.7. Maximum band score achieved among the four sections was in Speaking and that was 6.9 for German students and for other students it was 6.6 or 6.7. French students received 6.5 overall band score which was slightly lower than that of German students and higher than Malay students. The Malay and Indonesian students received overall band score 6.4 and 6.3.
