The given illustration presents information on the average monthly temperature as well as rainfall of Kolkata city. Overall, rainfall from June to September is highest in Kolkata and the temperature during January and December is lower compared to the other months of the year.

According to the given graph, least precipitation in Kolkata could be observed from January to April and from November to December. Only about10 precipitation could be noticed in January and it slightly increases till May when this number reaches to just above 100. The rainfall in June becomes heavier and the precipitation reaches to over 250 in thin month. In July & August the rainfall is highest (around 330) and in September this gets slightly decreased amounting around 330 precipitations. In October the rainfall decreases to just above 150 while in November and December this number decreased significantly to less than 10.

Again the temperature in Kolkata in earlier January is about 22 degree centigrade while it keeps on increasing till May. From the month June the rainfall increases significantly and on the contrary the temperature decreases. After September the temperature keeps on falling till December when it reaches to just below 20 degree. The highest temperature in Kolkata is in May (about 30 degree centigrade) and lowest is in December (20 degree centigrade).
