The supplied table presents information about the amount of coal used in four different sectors in the United Kingdom from 1975 to 2000. The four given sectors are power stations, domestic, industry and services and the usages of coal are given in millions of tonnes.

As is observed from the given table the usages of coal had declined in the later years. In 1975 more than 77 million tonnes of coal were used in power stations which were the highest amount among the given sectors. This amount increased in 1980 to 89.6 million tonnes which was the highest amount of coal usages in any sector. After that the amount of coal usages kept on declining and reached to 47.1 million tonnes.

The usages of coal on domestic and industry were around 20 million tonnes in 1975 and this amount kept on decreasing until it these two amounts reached to around 3 million tonnes in 2000. Service sectors used the least amount of coal which was 4.2 million tonnes in 1975 and this reached to only 0.6 million tonnes in 2000.
In summary the usages of coal in different sectors in the UK decreased. In 1975 total usages of coal in four different sectors was 121.2 million tonnes and that reached to 53.5 tonnes in 2000.
